  SPECIFICATIONS

·     ISUZU FSS 550 - 4 x 4 cab/chassis with manual transmission supplied by the ACT Rural Fire Service.

·     Power - 141 kW nett - Diesel to SITEC 190; Isuzu 6HK1-TCN standard.

·     Forward control, fully enclosed day cab fitted with front impact protection bar and spray bar.

·        An CAFS pump system suitable, of 300 litres per minute @ 860kPa @ 40 cfm.  In the unload position the pump shall have a capacity of 375 litres per minute @ 1030 kPa and 50 cfm of air at 690 kPa.

·      Pump and Roll capability.

·      A rear work platform with maximum available protection for crew members from fire and smoke.

·     One (1) fixed pipe water / CAFS manually operated monitor on rear work platform capable of being operated on near side or off side of the work platform, 2 x 38mm delivery outlet, and 2 x  hose reels.

·     2 000 litre water tank to provide 1800 litre useable fire fighting capacity and 200 litre emergency / rescue capacity.

·     CAFS foam delivery pumping system with flaked delivery capability with branch attached.

·      Provision for 2 x S/S Hosereels, one fitted to the rear of the appliance and one fitted on the N/S of the appliance.

·     100 litre foam tank with induction point to CAFS pump.

·     Stowage for CAFS Rural Fire Service tanker equipment and inventory.

·     Light weight aluminium modular body on steel sub frame.

·     Crew protection inside the cabin by drop down curtains.

·     Crew protection in the rear work platform by drop down curtains and water sprays.
